Built in 1940 by CC Rouse at 2136 Brentwood in River Oaks and is now a designated landmark in the city of Houston. The home was owned by Dr. Mavis P. Kelsey, Sr., the founder of Kelsey-Seybold Clinic in the 50s. An enhanced version of this house is located at 3014 Del Monte Drive.
